Rebecca went to Roedean School where she was a head girl. She also studied at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge where she studied English literature before dropping out in 2002. In 2024, she starred in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire as Dr. Ilene Andrews. Rebecca also made several appearances on British television.

In 2002, Hall started her stage career by appearing in her father’s production of Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Due to her acting in Mrs. Warren’s Profession, she won the Ian Charleson Award in 2003. Still, in 2003, Rebecca’s father celebrated 50 years of being a theatre director and staged a season of five plays at the Theatre Royal in Bath, Somerset. In these 5 plays, Rebecca starred in two of them; As You Like It and The Fight for Barbara.
Rebecca later worked for the Peter Hall Company in 2004 and appeared in 3 plays two of which her father directed: Galileo’s Daughter and Man and Superman. The following year (2005) she appeared in As You Like It reprising the role of Rosalind. From 2008 to 2009, she appeared in The Winter’s Tale as Hermione. In addition to that, the project gave performances with the same cast in New Zealand, Germany, Spain, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom. From 2011 to 2011, she appeared in Twelfth Night taking the role of Viola.
