During her tenure at HNN, she was the reporter for disaster coverage on the Kīlauea Eruption, historic flooding, and Hurricanes Lane and Hector. She also hosted a Lantern Floating Hawaii ceremony and Reflections of a Queen about Queen Liliʻuokalani.

Prior to working at HNN, she worked at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Honolulu where she served as Director of Communications and Marketing from September 2013 to December 2016. Initially, from September 2002 to August 2013, she worked at KITV4 News in Honolulu, Hawaii where she served as an anchor and reporter. While at KITV4, she assisted news directors in searching for new on-air talent and coaching current talent. She also enclosed marathon anchoring during the 2011 Japan Tsunami, Senator Dan Inouye’s services in Washington, “War in Iraq”, and the 2009 Presidential Inauguration.

It was at KITV4 that she won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her news special, “War in Iraq.” Previously, from July 2000 to July 2002, she worked at KGW in Portland, Oregon where she served as a general assignment reporter. She previously worked at KGMB serving as a reporter from January 1995 to January 2000. She has been volunteering at Friends of Shriners Hospitals since January 2017.
