On joining WRTV in June 2007, he started off by serving as a sports MMJ and was in charge of Weekend Sports Anchoring. Prior to working at WRTV, he worked at WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he served as anchor, reporter, and producer from June 2000 to June 2007. He kickstarted his career working at WIFF radio and TV7 in DeKalb County when he was still in high school.

In addition to Brad working as a journalist, he also works with the Miss Indiana Scholarship Organization. Since 2005, he has worked as Master of Ceremonies and Host for the Miss Indiana competition. He is also an active volunteer in his community and works hand in hand with several non-profit organizations and foundations.
