Corona serves at WSB-TV as an anchor of Channel 2 Action News at 4 pm Monday through Friday and also reports daily throughout the metro. Before the move to Atlanta, she worked at WFAA in Dallas, Texas. She was also an evening anchor at KPRC in Houston, Texas.
She was the morning anchor at Local 10, the ABC affiliate in Miami. Her broadcast career started as a reporter in Yuma, Arizona followed by El Paso, Texas, and Orlando, Florida.
She has been a witness to many significant news events, starting in her college days and being present at the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

On June 15, 2021, Corona announced on TV that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She said that t first started as a bump and brought it to her doctor’s attention. She gave advice, that one should not lose precious time when it comes to health. “Make the appointment. Go see the doctor. Don’t put it off. We put off a lot during the pandemic. Don’t let your health, your life, be one of those things,” she said.
