Glenn is a May 1984 graduate of the University of Virginia, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. When it comes to his profession, Glenn serves as a sports director at KPIX 5/KBCWTV 44. He previously served as a weekday evening sports anchor and reporter.
On joining the station, he served as weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter & MMJ for 9 years and 2 months (June 2012 – July 2021). He has also won several awards including four Emmy Awards for Best Sportscaster in 2012. In addition to that, he was also honored in the SF/NorCal Silver Circle Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining KPIX5, he worked at KRON 4 News where he served as a multimedia journalist and reporter. While at KRON4 News, he enclosed several stories including pro football, bungee jumping, bull riding, sky diving, and a dirt bike crash. He also reported on the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. In addition to that, he worked at the KNBR Radio Morning show in 1998 and is presently making appearances as a guest on 95.7 The Game.
Glenn had also spent some time working at WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as a sports anchor and reporter from 1987 to 1990. Before joining WBAL-TV, he worked at WXEX-TV, now WRIC, in Richmond, Virginia where he served as a sports reporter, anchor, and photographer from 1985 to 1987.
