Tony Dokoupil Career
Dokoupil serves at CBS as a co-anchor of CBS This Morning. Previously he was a news correspondent for CBS News and MSNBC. Dokoupil earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in American Studies from Columbia University. His research has been featured on both CBS News programs and networks.

Dokoupil interviewed a number of prominent musicians, entertainers, and news writers, including First Lady Hillary Clinton, comedy legend Steve Martin, and music sensation Dolly Parton. Dokoupil is also the author of the widely acclaimed book The Last Pirate: A Father, His Son, and the Golden Age of Marijuana (Doubleday, 2014), a memoir in which he described his father’s experiences in marijuana smuggling in the 1970s and 1980s.
