Prior to his tenure at WKMG, he worked at KBMT|K-JAC 12 News where he served as the chief meteorologist based in Beaumont- Port Arthur. He had previously spent about 2 years and 2 months working at Channel 6| KRIS-TV where he served as a meteorologist from September 1991 till his departure in October 1993.
Terry has also managed to enclose several weather events including the 2004 devastating hurricane season. He also enclosed Hurricane Charley in Central Florida, Hurricane “Jeanne” and “Frances.” He went to the University of Oklahoma where he attained his degree in Meteorology.
