In the course of her working time there, she served the station as a meteorologist for five years. She forecasted anything from tornadoes, tropical storms, ice, and snow.

Before that, she worked at WPBF in West Palm Beach, Florida as a meteorologist. During her time there, she covered major hurricanes including Dorian, Irma, and Matthew. In addition to that, she covered the El Nino winter of 2016 which sparked numerous tornado outbreaks across the state of Florida. Her journalism career job began in Abilene, Texas working for KRBC. While there, she worked as a weekend meteorologist and multimedia journalist.

During her time in college, Grenda interned with FOX 29 in Philadelphia, she was a weather intern. Furthermore, she was a member of the Division 1 swim team at the University of Miami. Grenda is excited to be able to forecast for the DMV.
