Taniya Nayak is an Indian-American TV personality, Interior Designer, Host, and Entrepreneur, well-known for being a design expert and host of several shows on Food Network and HGTV. She is also known as the host of her podcast called “The Break with Taniya Nayak”, and as the owner of her company “Taniya Nayak Design LLC”.

Nayak went to Weymouth High School where she attained her high school diploma in 1991. She, later on, joined The University of Massachusetts Lowell where she attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. The series is about three skilled teams of up-and-coming designers and renovators who will be assisted by design experts Ty Pennington (Rock the Block), Taniya Nayak (Build it Forward), and Alison Victoria (Windy City Rehab). Taniya Nayak: Restaurant Impossible
Nayak was one of the interior designers in the American reality TV series which featured chef Robert Irvine alongside other interior designers. On the series, Nayak worked alongside other interior designers on the show including Cheryl Torrenueva, Vanessa DeLeon, Lynn Kegan, Yvette Irene, Krista Watterworth, and Nicole Faccuito. The series premiered for the first time in 2011 on Food Network till 2016. The show was on hold for three years and returned on April 20, 2019, with an episode running for 42 minutes.
The series was mainly about renovating and saving dying restaurants. After evaluating the drawbacks of a specific restaurant, Robert, Nayak, and the team would create a plan for the new decor, develop a promotional activity, train the staff, reduce the number of items on the menu, resolve conflicts for the restaurant’s owners, and improves the quality of the restaurant’s recipes. The show moved to Discovery+ on January 4, 2021, with new episodes every Thursday.
