She began her career in Toledo, Ohio, as a weekend weathercaster and weekday general assignment reporter. During her time in Toledo, she covered extreme snowfall events and chased summer thunderstorms, and river flooding.
When she is not working, she enjoys running. Berg completed the Big Sur International Marathon multiple times and anticipates running the California International Marathon each December. She likewise enjoys climbing, biking, trail runs, and snowboarding. Berg would also like to eventually get her pilot’s license. Additionally, Berg volunteers her time to the American Heart Association, SPCA, and enjoys visiting nearby schools to teach kids all about the weather.
