Furthermore, she also spent some time serving as a general assignment reporter and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) with the American Meteorological Society (AMS).
Sharifi states that her most memorable weather experience was when she drove to the station in the middle of the night after at least six tornadoes were tracked through parts of West Central Texas. This occurred on May 18, 2019, and all the streets were already flooding and there was no electric power in the area. Fortunately, there was no death reported and the people in that area managed to move on after the incident. Additionally, she is also very much active when it comes to her social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter as well as Instagram.
