Before going to CNBC, she worked for Bloomberg Television as a Hong Kong-based anchor. There she was responsible for hosting the show, “First Up with Susan Li.” The show won “Best News Program” at the Asian Television Awards in the year 2012. In addition to her roles there, she served as Bloomberg Television’s lead anchor based in Asia, where she hosted “Bloomberg Edge and Morning Call,” her talk show Asia Stars. Li started her career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where she reported on different consumer and political topics. Li fluently speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
