Her first news gig was at KRON in San Francisco where she interned. Later she first grades in under-served schools in Houston and Texas after joining Teach for America. From there, she went back to her journalism career and she worked in Columbus, Ga as a weather forecaster and reporter. Not long ago, she was working at WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C as an evening anchor and reporter. What drew her to Minnesota is how WCCO honors the lives of Minnesotans.
During her leisure time, she likes hanging out with her family and friends, exploring, diving into the Twin Cities restaurant scene, hopping a plane to someplace she’s never been, playing fantasy football, as well as running. In addition, she loves eating fried okra.
