Kuzj serves as a fill-in reporter/anchor at PIX11. He comes to PIX11 from KTLA where he served as a general assignment news reporter. He started his tenure at KTLA 5 in April 2013 and left the station in July 2021. Prior to his tenure at KTLA 5 in L.A., Kuzj worked as a multimedia journalist and anchor for the ABC station in Phoenix. Kuzj also spent time reporting for CBS in Atlanta. Throughout the years, Kuzj has gotten various Emmy selections, and has won “Best On-Air Reporter.”The Minnesota native found a passion for narrating and news-casting in secondary school. He took that enthusiasm to the University of Minnesota, graduating with degrees in news coverage and business.
When not reporting, Kuzj loves tinkering with gadgets, going to the rec center, climbing mountains, and scuba plunging. Additionally, he is a wild endurance master and Eagle Scout. Kuzj has a second-degree dark belt in blended hand-to-hand fighting and has been doing karate since he was only 5 years of age.
