Steve Johnson is an American Anchor and Reporter working at WHNT News 19 in Huntsville, Alabama as a weekday morning news anchor. He joined the station in May 1997.
In 1969, he joined Auburn University where he attained his degree in Journalism in 1973. He has served at WHNT News 19 as a Special Assignment Reporter and Senior Reporter. Over the years with WHNT, he has enclosed several stories including NASA’s final Space Shuttle launch. In addition to that, he also directed a documentary on Dr. Wernher Von Braun. Johnson has worked at WHMA-TV based in Anniston where he served as an assistant News Director from February 1974 till his departure in May 1977.
