He went to Morehouse College where he attained his B.A. in Mass Communications in 1984. In 1990, he joined CNN where he served as a writer till his departure in 1995.
After his tenure at CNN, he joined FOX4|KDFW-TV where he served as an anchor as well as a reporter from August 1995 to August 1998. He, later on, joined WIS-TV in September 1998 where he served as an anchor and reporter till August 2003. Since he began his career, he has enclosed several stories including the Los Angeles riots, the fall of the Soviet Union, and the O.J. Simpson trial. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
