Later on, she moved to Binghamton, New York, and started working for WIVT/WBGH NewsChannel 34 where she served as a news reporter and evening anchor. She then moved to WETM in Elmira, New York, and started working as a morning anchor and news reporter. In 2015, she worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at WNEP in Scranton, Pennsylvania for five years. While here, she served as the evening anchor of the 7 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm newscasts.

Her story titled “Hurricane Harvey’s Unsung Heroes” captured the heroic efforts of citizens in the Houston area helping to rescue people from the rising floodwaters.
