In her first three years of college– Go Fighting Camels!, she played Division 1 lacrosse. During her senior year, she received the Senior of the Year award for Broadcasting and Electronic Media and was voted Homecoming Queen. In addition to that, she interned at WNCN and Raleigh Television Network after studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. Furthermore, Fox is a member of the Founding Sister of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
