Serayah portrays the role of Tiana Brown in Empire. Tiana Brown Lyon appears as a recurring character in Empire’s first season and as the main character in subsequent seasons. She is a recording artist, Hakeem Lyon’s wife, and the mother of Prince Lyon.

Serayah, a singer, plays her. In “The Outspoken King,” she first appears as an R&B-pop artist signed to Empire Entertainment who begins a relationship with Hakeem Lyon. They later split up after discovering she was having an affair with another woman.

They have been together several times since then, but she is currently dating Devon. Tiana is first introduced as a new pop artist under Anika Calhoun’s management.
