Grayson later moved to Altoona, PA at WTAJ-TV to man the sports desk before heading to WHP-TV in Harrisburg, PA. He moved to Morgantown, WV in 2005 to work at WBOY and wvillustrated.com as a sports director.
While growing up, he played many sports and made a living covering sports after realizing a career in professional sports was not in his future. He won the Associated Press “Best Sportscast” award for WHP-TV. Furthermore, he served at the National Association of Broadcasters conference as a moderator.
