Prior to joining Sab Diego Wave FC, she previously worked for FOX5 where she served as a sports reporter as well as a multi-media journalist. While here, she enclosed local sports at all levels including Los Angeles Rams/chargers as well as San Diego Padres. She also wrote, shot, and edited pieces throughout the week for weekday and weekend shows.
She relocated just in time to avoid the year’s first snowstorm. She’s already sent a lot of photos back home of the nice weather, and she hasn’t lost any friends yet. Samantha most recently worked as a weekend sports anchor/reporter for WTVO/WQRF in Rockford, Illinois.
She covered everything from professional to high school sports during her two years there. The Bear Blitz show focused heavily on Chicago Bears coverage, but she also covered hometown hero Fred VanVleet and the Raptors’ journey to becoming NBA champions.
