Leftwich serves at Fox 8 as a General Assignment Reporter and News Anchor. This will be Rosie’s second homecoming (yes you can call him that). Before moving to the Baltimore area, he was a reporter for another Cleveland station during the 1990s. Proud to name Cleveland his hometown, Rosie grew up on the east side and is a graduate of the School of Journalism of John F. Kennedy High School and Ohio University.
From the Carolinas and Cleveland to Washington D.C., he reported news reports in several different areas. From the Browns fleeing and moving to Cleveland, many floods, the DC Sniper case, and the Baltimore riots, he has covered live on several major news. Rosie has been nominated for over a dozen State Emmy Awards, but she hasn’t won one.
When he doesn’t work, Rosie is an enthusiastic cyclist, a decent athlete, and a bad swimmer. He still has an unfortunate thing with the Browns that can only be resolved with a trip to the Super Bowl.
