Simmons serves as the co-anchor of the weekend editions of WSVN/7 NEWS at 5, 6, and 10. Prior to joining WDIV, Robbin worked as a general assignment reporter at WSVN for three years before being promoted to Saturday morning weekend anchor. She covered everything from the Elian Gonzalez saga to Timothy McVeigh’s execution and the 2000 Presidential election while at WSVN.
Robbin covered the 2009 Presidential Inauguration and traveled to Vatican City in March 2014 to cover President Obama’s meeting with Pope Francis.
