He earned his broadcast journalism degree from the University of Southern California. His first on-air job was at KRCR, where he worked as a bureau reporter in Chico, CA. After that, he spent three years in the much cooler climate of Spokane, WA as a reporter for KAYU.

From there, he returned to the warmer temperatures of California when he became a reporter in Palm Springs covering the Coachella Valley, just east of the Inland Empire.

His next stop was in Las Vegas, NV at KVBC before returning to Southern California to work in his hometown for ABC7.

McMillan is excited to connect with viewers in Riverside County and San Bernardino County and cover the stories meaningful to the people of the Inland Empire.
