Williams loves his community, and much of his time he is out helping to uplift and inspire youths in their academic endeavors. He is a member of Philadelphia Futures, a non-profit organization that mentors college-bound Philadelphia students. Williams has been on stage in a few musical productions with his friends and family. In addition, he is a member of the Moorestown Theater Company.
Throughout his career, he has reported big events and also interviewed various celebrities, presidents, and politicians. He hosted the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside Cecily Tynan and considered it as one of his favorite assignments. Since 2009, he has enjoyed the show.
