Clayton is a Sports and News reporter at WCCO-TV. He joined the station in October 2021. Prior to joining WCCO-TV, he served in Honolulu, HI at KHON-TV. In the course of his time there, he worked as a Weekend Sports Anchor.
His passion for sports began at a young age, he grew up in Minneapolis as a true sports fanatic. He used to watch the World Series, Masters Tournament, as well as Olympics. Right after graduating from college, the following year he began working in Twins Cities where he produced and reported a high school sports magazine show.
From there, he moved to Rapid City, South DakotaRapid to work at KOTA-TV. While there, he worked as a sports anchor and reporter. That was followed by a stint at KHON-TVKHON and carried out his task as a Weekend sports anchor and reporter. His passion is telling the human stories of people in sports. Clayton is happy to be working in his hometown.
During his leisure time, he likes playing softball, golf, and anything to do with sports. In addition, he enjoys snowboarding and when it comes to food, he likes Enchiladas or Bahn Mi.
