In addition, he has appeared on Crime Watch Daily, Investigation Discovery, CNN, and 48 Hours.
He has covered major national and international stories, as well as interviewed six US Presidents. Phil has won numerous Emmys, as well as the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting and San Diego Press Club awards. Phil began honing his journalism skills in high school while working on student newspapers.
