Black serves at CNN as an International Correspondent based in the London bureau. Before being deployed to London, he worked as the network’s Russia correspondent based in Moscow, where he covered several high-profile stories. Some of these stories included the controversial arrest and detainment of protest punk group Pussy Riot as well as the landslide re-election of Vladimir Putin as president.

Black has played an integral role in the coverage of the Ukraine crisis on CNN.
