He serves as the weekday meteorologist during the 5:30 a.m, 12 p.m, 4 p.m, 5 p.m, 6 p.m, and 10 p.m newscast and on weekends at 6 p.m and 10 p.m newscast. He came to Abilene through the Air Force after being stationed at the Dyess Fire Dept. Even after he had completed his tour in Abilene, he decided to make it his home and joined the Abilene Fire Dept. He also attended Mississippi State University where he received meteorology training.
In his career as a meteorologist, he has been involved with both television and radio weather in Abilene for more than twenty years.
In addition, during his leisure time, he enjoys recording audiobooks for Audible, teaching at the AISD’s Fire Academy, watching television, and listening to music. His favorite foods are Bar-B-Que, Italian, and Tex-Mex
