Clark aspired to be on television like her idol at a young age. She began by giving talks at her church, Greater St. Stephen, and other local events. She worked as a co-host of a local adolescent talk show at AM 940 in New Orleans as a child, eager to get engaged in the media.
Clark is a proud alumnus of Nicholls State University – Thibodaux, Louisiana. She worked as an anchor/reporter for her campus TV station and the local radio station KTIB throughout her undergraduate years. She also worked as an intern at New Orleans’ FOX 8 News. Clark graduated from the university with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. After graduation, she returned to her hometown and served at WWL- TV as an associate assignment editor. Also, she assisted in the creation of the youth program “Our Generation.”
Clark then relocated to South Mississippi to work as a tape editor for WLOX, but she was still determined to appear on camera. She spent her free time writing and sharing stories. Her ambition came true when she was offered the position of Jackson County bureau chief after a lot of hard work. Also, she worked at WLOX as a weekend live fill-in anchor and reporter. She relocated to Jackson, Mississippi, in the year 2016 to continue telling people’s tales.
She has conducted interviews with previous presidents, business leaders, governors, and celebrities from the entertainment industry. But it’s informing and assisting people in the community that Clark is most passionate about, and it’s a goal she strives to achieve with every story.
Clark has won first prize in the Louisiana-Mississippi Associated Press Media Editors and Broadcasters for “Best Public Affairs Reporting” while at WLBT-TV. She also took first honors in the category of the best short light feature.
