Paige Preusse is an American Emmy Award-winning News Anchor/Reporter currently working for KHBS-TV since joining the station in August of 2013. She currently anchors the evening newscasts, from Monday through Friday on 40/29 News. She began as a Weekend News Anchor, where she was anchoring the weekend newscasts and filling in the weekday newscasts. In January 2014, she now became the Weekday News Anchor. Previously, she was in Terre Haute, Indiana Area, working for an NBC-affiliated, WTWO-V. She stayed there for 1 year and 8 months, working as a News Reporter/Producer of the weekend newscasts.
Preusse is a proud alumnus of Carthage College, as well as Bond University. She graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Communications, and Business and Marketing. While studying at Carthage, she was still studying abroad in Australia. She graduated from Bond University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

After graduating from the university, she went on to intern with FOX News Chicago, and WFLD-TV. There she aided in the conduction of interview research, as well as the production of sportscasts. Her first employment was with a leading temporary home provider for displaced residents, ALE Solutions, There she worked in public relations, as a Media Specialist.
Preusse has also interned at Ripple Public Relations for 5 months. There she created a brand identification campaign for a small business clothes designer and presented it to the client. Also, she helped in conducting interviews, as well as market research and strategy. Preusse is a proud recipient of an Emmy Award, which she won in the year 2017 for “Best Evening Newscast”. Also, she won an Associated Press Award for “Best Political Coverage” in the year 2016.
During her leisure, she likes staying outdoors, swimming, or traveling. Also, she enjoys giving back to her communities through mentoring teenage girls with Catholic Charities, volunteering, and church mission trips. Through the Big Brother Big Sister Program, she is now a “big” 10-year-old girl. She also has a soft spot for animals, which she indulges in by working at local shelters and owning a Great Dane named Quinn.
