Nick Wright is an American sports television personality and sports radio talk show host working for FOX Sports serving as a co-host on Fox Sports 1’s First Things First. He previously worked at KILT 610 AM where he served as the co-host of In the Loop with Nick and Lopez.

He has also hosted “What’s Wright with Nick Wright” on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio weekdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM ET since September of 2018.
Wright was a regular contributor to a number of FS1’s daily studio shows prior to the launch of FIRST THINGS FIRST, frequently guest-hosting THE HERD WITH COLIN COWHERD. Wright continues to join Colin Cowherd on Wednesdays to discuss the latest sports news. He worked as a radio host in Syracuse, Kansas City, and Houston before joining the network.
He gained national attention for his willingness to discuss social issues, including race, both within and outside of the context of sports. Carter and Wright’s co-hosting venture was used by then-Fox Sports executive Jamie Horowitz to test their chemistry together in order to assess the potential of them co-hosting a daily morning sports talk show on FS1.
According to Sporting News, the early morning block (6:00-9:30 AM EST) was “a black hole for FS1” at the time, as the network used it for game replays and reruns of other shows. Carter and Wright were a successful pairing, as they were paired up to host FS1’s morning talk show First Things First, which debuted on September 5, 2017.
