Prior to joining Denver7, he was working at KRDO as a Sports Anchor and Reporter. He started his on-air job at KKCO/KJCT. In the course of his time there he served as a Weekend Anchor, Sports Reporter, and anchor, Web Producer and editor, assignment editor, and Colorado Mountain Wine Fest emcee, he enjoyed it very much.
In 2015, he moved to Colorado Springs to work at KRDO NewsChannel 13 as a full-time sports anchor. For three and a half years he worked there, he covered the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, high school sports championships, and also the race to the clouds. He got a chance to explore a new section of the state.
