He anchors FNC’s programs, “CAVUTO Live” which airs every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and “Your World with Neil Cavuto” which airs from Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Also, he anchors FBN’s program, “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” which airs from Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Cavuto is also responsible for overseeing business news content for both FBN and FNC and leading special events coverage for FBN. On October 19, 2021, Cavuto revealed that he had undergone a diagnosis of COVID-19. He missed his usual news show that same afternoon. In a statement shared by Fox News Media, he stated that he was stunned by the doctors’ news that he was lucky because it would have been a far more dire situation if he had not gotten vaccinated, and with all his medical issues. Cavuto made an announcement that he had once more been diagnosed with COVID-19 after he returned to the airwaves in February of 2022. He said that the doctors diagnosed it as ‘Covid pneumonia.’ He urged people to get vaccinated.

Cavuto has been dealing with health issues for most of his career. He was diagnosed with a type of cancer that attacks the body’s immune system known as Hodgkin’s lymphoma, in the year 1987. At the time of the diagnosis, he just graduated from college. He underwent chemotherapy and radiation. After a decade from his initial diagnosis, he started experiencing symptoms again. He says that he was falling and stumbling, and he would wake up prickly and his legs felt like stilts. Cavuto went to his doctor and this time he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis degenerative neurological disease. He didn’t speak about this diagnosis for 4 days. He is currently battling the disease while continuing with his career.
