Pozo serves at WCVB as a general assignment reporter and the co-anchor of weekend evening editions of WCVB NewsCenter 5. She grew up in Miami and graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in broadcast journalism. Nathalie came to WCVB Channel 5 from WHDH in Boston in 2020. She covered major news events like the shooting of Red Sox legend David Ortiz during her three-year tenure at WHDH. Nathalie received an Emmy award and multiple nominations for her live exclusive reports from the Dominican Republic, where she translated the unfolding information from Spanish to English.
Nathalie has also covered presidential and state politics in New England, as well as providing live coverage of racial injustice protests, and was the only reporter to interview New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton just moments after he landed at Logan Airport. She previously worked at WAGA in Atlanta, Georgia, where she covered a large manhunt for escaped inmates, the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, and extreme weather ranging from hurricanes to snowstorms across the Southeast.
