At the age of four, her father showed her highlights of Barry Sanders, and she was fascinated with football ever since. She used to play volleyball, lacrosse, and alpine skiing as a kid. Natalie was a six-time all-state alpine ski racer in high school, and her senior year she placed fourth in slalom in Michigan.
