Miller serves at CBS as a national correspondent for CBS News and co-host on the Saturday edition of CBS This Morning. Miller began working for the broadcast in July 2018. Her coverage is prominently seen on “CBS Evening News,” “CBS This Morning” and “CBS Sunday Morning.” She has worked as a “48 Hours.” correspondent.

Although in CBS News, Miller has reported a variety of national and foreign reports. She gave thorough coverage of demonstrations against police brutality and prosecutions, including the deaths of George Floyd (and his funeral), Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and the trial of George Zimmerman. Miller received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Howard University and studied abroad in Kenya and Tanzania. She also holds a Masters’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of New Orleans. Miller has worked in radio and print media for more than 30 years. She has taught journalism and mass communication at Dillard University in New Orleans. She is a board member of the School of American Ballet and a founding member of the Women’s Empowerment Movement. Miller has lectured at many universities, including Drew University, Howard University, and Wellesley College.
