The Northern Irish actress rose to fame for playing the role of Catelyn Stark in the HBO series, Game of Thrones between the years 2011 and 2013. In the same year 2013, she made an appearance in the USA Network Series Suits.
Later on, in the year 2014, she made an appearance on the FOX series 24: Live Another Day in the year 2014. This is in addition to playing a role in the RTÉ miniseries Rebellion in the year 2016.
