He has traveled to almost every community in the Lehigh Valleys and Delaware tackling assignments that took him to Brazil, England, California, and Nevada. O’Donnell flew with the Blue Angels in a life-changing flight to the skies. He has interviewed President Obama and President Trump and three political conventions.

After his graduation, he joined WICZ-TV in Binghamton where he served as a do-it-yourself news reporter. During his time there he covered politics and local news including the 1994 New York governor’s race where he interviewed George Pataki. He later moved to Syracuse, New York at WSTM-TV, and he followed an accused murderer for an exclusive interview.
In addition, he provided daily coverage of a gruesome series of deaths that one day became the basis of the cable series “Village of the Damned” and visited a community that saw 300+ inches of snowfall in one season. O’Donnell went for a trip to England shortly after 9/11 with the Air Force National Guard. He flew supersonic over Atlantic City with a member of the Blue Angels.
For four days he lived in the Brazilian rain forest to help protect the golden lion tamarin with experts from the Philadelphia Zoo. He interviewed Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Sarah Palin, John McCain, Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton when their presidential campaigns brought them to the region.
