Martin Kratt is an American educational nature show host and actor. He is best known for creating the children’s series Zoboomafoo and Kratts’ Creatures together with his brother Chris Kratt. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Duke University.

Martin and his younger brother Chris Kratt have created several children’s television series including Kratts’ Creatures, Zoboomafoo, and Be the Creature (which aired on CBC and the National Geographic Channel and Knowledge Network), as well as Wild Kratts which airs on TVOKids and PBS Kids.
He co-hosts all of his educational childhood programs with his brother Chris Kratt. The two are the main characters on the animated TV series Wild Kratts, which airs on PBS Kids. They also appear as themselves in the Odd Squad episode “Night Shift”.
In 1990, Martin and his brother Chris founded The Earth Creatures Company, which specializes in wildlife entertainment. The two have also authored eight wildlife books for children (including Creatures in Crisis and Where’re the Bears?) published by Scholastic. Martin and his brother Chris currently live in Ottawa, Ontario, as of 2018, where their series Wild Kratts is produced.
