Morales began his career at WCBS Newsradio 880 in New York where he worked on weekend nights as a desk assistant.
When it comes to his education, Morales attended Pace University in the year 2001 and then graduated 5 years later with degrees in communications and Latin American studies. In 2008, he enrolled at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and graduated after 2 years with a Master’s degree. During his stint at CUNY, he worked as an adjunct lecturer.
