During her stint at NASDAQ, she partnered with CNN in “America Votes 2004” live from the NASDAQ MarketSite. She also a negotiation a partnership with Reuters Group Limited, which led to combining Reuters Sign properties and the NASDAQ Tower to create the largest outdoor digital display system in the world, located in Times Square.

She was scheduled for major surgery on February 25, 2022, and therefore she was off the air for a couple of weeks while she was recovering. Despite her prognosis being good, she required a lot of time to recover and get back on her feet again. Fortunately, Aber recovered and went back to her job. She is now in good health.
