Before Aber joined CNN Newsource in the year 2012, she hosted and produced the program “Wall Street Week.” Also, she served as a producer, correspondent, and entertainment reporter for The Broadway Channel, where she covered all significant red carpet events on Broadway, as well as the Tony Awards. Aber has freelanced as a host at Brain Fuel TV (the syndicated educational television show), MSN, and AOL. 

Aber started her TV career as a regular contributor on career and money issues for a syndicated daytime TV show, “The Better Show,” produced by the Meredith Corporation. Also, she worked as a publisher of “Parents,” “Ladies Home Journal,” and “Better Homes and Gardens.” Aber has worked with FINRA (then it was known as the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc.), where she focused on securities regulation.

In the year 2000, she joined NASDAQ where she worked as an associate director of global sales & member services. There she made her way up to an appointment as chief of staff for the vice chairman in the year 2001. Later on, she was promoted to vice president of the NASDAQ MarketSite, home of the NASDAQ Opening Bell. In that role, she ran the 7-story tower and broadcast studio. During her stint at NASDAQ, she partnered with CNN in “America Votes 2004” live from the NASDAQ MarketSite. She also a negotiation a partnership with Reuters Group Limited, which led to combining Reuters Sign properties and the NASDAQ Tower to create the largest outdoor digital display system in the world, located in Times Square.

Despite her prognosis being good, she required a lot of time to recover and get back on her feet again. Fortunately, Aber recovered and went back to her job. She is now in good health.
