Prior to working at WREG-TV, he worked at WAPT-TV based in Jackson, Mississippi where he served as a morning news anchor and co-host of “Blitz16” from May 2014 to May 2022. He had previously spent 4 years and 11 months working at Sports 56 WHBQ based in Memphis, Tennessee where he served as a co-host of Memphis Sports Live from October 2010 to August 2015.
Prior to that, he worked at FOX 13 Memphis, Tennessee where he served as a weekend sports anchor from December 2006 to October 2013. On joining FOX 13 Memphis, he started off by serving as a multimedia journalist and sports anchor/reporter. From December 2001 to December 2005, he worked at WCBI-TV based in Columbus, Mississippi where he also served as a weekend sports anchor and news editor.
In 2001, he joined Mississippi State University where he attained his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2005. Since he started his career, he has enclosed a ton of stories including the Memphis Tigers’ run to the National Championship. He also enclosed The Grizzlies’ trip to the Western Conference Finals, the murder of Lorenzen Wright, and the Memphis City school board’s vote to surrender its charter.
