While working at WUFT, he was able to attend Telemundo University, where he learned how to effectively provide news to Spanish-speaking audiences across the region, as well as to highlight his Hispanic heritage.
Still, at WUFT, he worked for NPR’s “All Things Considered,” a radio program that broadcasts breaking news and current events on WUFT 89.1/90.1 FM. Cuadra eventually graduated from the University of Florida in December 2020 with a major in Telecommunication News and a specialization in Business.
