Saeidi serves as an investigative reporter at WFLA News based in Tampa, Florida. In this role, she has enclosed several stories including the coronavirus pandemic, Gov. Ron DeSantis, and crime and injustice. Prior to joining WFLA News, she worked at The E.W Scripps Company based in Las Vegas, Nevada where she served as an anchor and reporter from June 2015 to March 2019. While there, she anchored the 3 pm Monday through Friday newscasts.
From January 2013 to June 2015, Saeidi worked at NY1 News where she served as a reporter based in New York City. She had previously spent about 1 year working at WCTI-TV 12 and FOX8/14 where she served as a reporter based in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In September 2008, she started working at Kings County District Attorney’s Office where she served as a student prosecutor and Assistant District Attorney till her departure in October 2010.
Saeidi interned at Richmond County District Attorney’s Office from January 2008 to August 2008 in Staten Island, New York. She went to The University of Virginia where she attained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She also went to Brooklyn Law School where she received her law degree.
Saeidi has also received several awards including two Emmy Awards for enclosing law enforcement and crime issues as well as justice. In addition to that, she has also interviewed a ton of players, celebrities, and politicians as well as major stories including the aftermath of the mass shooting. She also covered the legal analysis of the O.J. Simpson parole hearing. She received her third Emmy Award for covering this event.
