In her career as a journalist, she is an Emmy award-winning journalist and through her years in the industry has traveled the world covering some amazing stories. She is proud of what came out of the time I spent in Iraq just north of Baghdad. seeing how committed they were to their jobs but still really missed their homes and loved ones gave me a new appreciation for the military, and meeting our country’s heroes.
Lisa has also flown with the Hurricane Hunters through the eye of a hurricane, and gone sky diving all for a good story, the Blue Angels, bungee jumped. She traded in her motorcycle for a stroller and is happy to be doing the job she loves in her hometown. During her free time, she likes home renovation, horseback riding, and carpentry. She lives in Gardendale with her husband and son.
