Adams serves as the weekend evening anchor and weekday reporter at WICU|WSEE-TV based in Erie, Pennsylvania. In 1974, she joined Grove City College where she attained her Bachelor of Arts in English/Communication Arts-Teaching in 1978. She kickstarted her journalism career by working at WICU12 immediately after college where she started off by serving as a producer, reporter, and director. In addition to that, she teaches courses at Gannon University in the Communications Department as well as teaching Confirmation Class at my church.
Adams has also won several awards and honors including the PA Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards for cooperative and enterprise reporting. She also won the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters award for some of her documentaries and reporting. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, skiing, trying out new restaurants, as well as traveling.
