In 2012 and 2013, he hosted The John Fox Show and Mile High Living. He won Emmy awards in 2019, 2014, and 2011 for the Best Sports Anchor in Denver.
In 2016 he won another one for his adventure show “Lionel’s World. The Westword Magazine named him the Best TV Sportscaster in 2014. In addition, 2011 and 2012 were his years too, and the Colorado Broadcaster’s Association honored him as the Best Sportscaster.
He began his job in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1985 as a Sports Anchor & Reporter. While there, he covered the Ragin’ Cajuns of USL. He hosted Jim Mora Show alongside the Saints head coach from 1989-1993 before moving to Saints head coach from 1989-1993. The New Orleans Press Club named him the Best Sportscaster and Best Host awards in 1995.
Bienvenu moved to L.A. in 1997 to join Fox Sports Network as an anchor. He anchored Fox Sports News Prime Time, an hour-long national highlight show which turned into The National Sports Report. From 1998 to 2000, he The English Premier League Soccer Show on Fox Sports Net and Fox Sports World and also hosted Baseball Today on Fox.
