Marin graduated from Santiago High School in Corona before heading off to the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and earned Mass Communications at Arizona State University.

Marin serves at CBS2/KCAL9 as a general assignment reporter, a position she has held since joining the network. She also assists in anchoring CBSNLA on Saturdays and Sundays. Marin began her career in Bakersfield, California after being accepted into the EW Scripps Cronkite Career program.
Marin got the chance to explore the Central Valley as a web producer and multimedia anchor/reporter. Lesley went to Las Vegas where she had the chance to report and anchor for KTNV for a period of three years.
While at KTNV, Lesley reported the devastating mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, anchored on several local and national elections in the battleground state, and anchored on the city’s first-ever professional sports team, The Golden Knights.
She is a first-generation Mexican-American and as well a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. During her free time, she loves traveling with friends or cuddling up to her family’s French Bulldog, and spoiling her two nephews.
