Previously, she was in Victoria, Texas, working for WOWT’s sister station, Newscenter 25. She spent 1 year and 10 months there holding the positions of Producer, Anchor, and On-Air Talent. As an evening anchor there, she covered national events such as the Sutherland Springs church shooting, as well as Hurricane Harvey. Before that, she spent 10 months in Lubbock, Texas, working as the General News Reporter for The HUB@TTU.

Waldman has worked for the Cable News Network (CNN) in Atlanta, Georgia, as an intern. While at CNN, she had the opportunity to learn from seasoned journalists while covering a wide range of topics, including the presidential election of 2016, the 2016 Dallas police shooting, and the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.
